Ive come to realize that while there are all kinds of speeders, ranging in size and shape and even speed. The game is missing a key part of Star Wars Lore. The animals that were notoriously used as mounts.
In no way am I asking that this be put into game ASAP. But that if star wars gold the Developers are looking at future Mounts, that living creatures be considered. Some of the Creatures are already there in game. Creatures like Reeks. And most of the animation has been done. As for other mounts, this much has been addressed by Bioware:
Underwater mounts: Will not be available for launch swtor credits. And from official statements doesn’t seem to have been the focus for developers. Indeed there seems to be no swimming.
Flying mounts: Will neither be included in the launch, and has a range of problematic aspects attached in regards to PvP.
Bestial mounts: Present in several films, both with the Bantha and Tauntaun’s. Bioware has said that it was more or less the choice between vehicle and bestial mounts for launch, and vehicles were chosen. So we’re looking at swtor credits future implementation for bestial mounts.
